Depending on the kinds of shows you watch, Danny Strong is either well known as Jonathan Levinson on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or Paris Gellar’s boyfriend Doyle McMaster on Gilmore Girls, but back in 1996 he played Eric Matthews’ competition for a TV internship in an episode of Boy Meets World.

Man, this reminds me of the time I was at the midnight release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in the Barnes and Noble at the Grove in L.A., and Danny Strong TOTALLY HIT ON ME.
I had gone downstairs to take a picture of the tower of boxes of books, and I was in my full on Slytherin robes (yes, Pottermore sorted me in Ravenclaw, but I thought I was Slytherin for the longest time!), and I get a tap on my shoulder.
I turn around, and it’s fucking HELLO JONATHAN LEVINSON I HAVE WATCHED YOU ON BUFFY FOR YEARS OMG WHAT. And I’m kind of flabberghasted, and he says, “I just wanted to tell you that that costume looks really great on you!”nd I’m like….”oh, um, thank you so much! I loved your work on Buffy, I’m a big fan and I watched it religiously since it aired! but inside I’m like OMGWHATISHAPPENING.
I asked him if he was there for the book release, and he was like, “oh no, I was just walking by and I saw all these people in costumes and I figured I’d come and check it out!”
It was the most surreal and awesome moment of my life. akljdfhajdfhalsjf DANNY STRONG WHAT

Man, this reminds me of the time I was at the midnight release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in the Barnes...
He was also in Mad Men last season! And, apparently I’m...person who watches ALL these...
Oh man, that trio was my favorite.
The occasionally pithy, often geeky remarks of a 20-something queer female bookseller in the flux that is a quarter-life crisis. Frequent references to Buffy (and all things Whedonesque), Doctor Who, Harry Potter (Officially a Ravenclaw on Pottermore, username CharmMahogany183!), bibliophilia, and theater abound.
